DIY // WINTER PINECONE DECOR

I’m sure most of you have your homes decorated for the holidays to some degree, yes? When do you take all of your holiday decor down? I usually remove it all around January 1, and plan to do the same this year, but I’ve decided to create some cute little vignettes around the house this week that I plan to keep around throughout the winter to keep it feeling festive.

It’s my new tapering off method of de-decorating, ha.

I started off styling a little area around my DIY penny frame project with gold spray painted pinecones and faux snow. It only took a few minutes, and I love the way it turned out (and thankfully the snow stays put for the most part).

Then I created a simple little tray using candle votives, faux snow and gold pinecones.

And lastly, I created an easy DIY pinecone snow globe exactly as I did my DIY snow globes, but using a pinecone instead of a tree.

I plan on keeping our entry way table set up as well. It’ll be my only lit garland left – sad. This taper method is going to be good for me I think, ha.

I hope everyone is gearing up for the holidays, and able to spend some time with friends and family.

I am definitely looking forward to unplugging and enjoying family time, and it’ll be fun to watch Vivi take it all in as an 18 month old. 🙂

xoxo to you all!!
