Happy Friday – whoohoo!
I am so excited for a quick weekend getaway to Chicago with my mom and sister! I’ve been a handful of times, but never with my family. We’ve been talking about doing a trip, just us three girls for so long, and I’m glad we’re finally doing it! 🙂
If anyone has any recommendations on fun things to do in Chicago, please let me know!
My family is a pretty tight unit, and I’ve always appreciated and loved that. As I get older I am realizing that FAMILY IS EVERYTHING! I can’t imagine what I’d do without them.
If you feel the same (and also enjoy printables), you are in luck because I am sharing a few free family printables with you today. 🙂
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!!

I meant to add: How cool is that? Lucky mom; lucky you!
I have been studying the picture of you, your sister and your mom. How is it that all three of you look the same age?!?!?
Hi LuRae! We get that a lot. 🙂 My mom is aging beautifully, isn't she? I hope I got those genes too, ha. I always appreciate you stopping by. xo
I live in Chicago, and the weather this weekend is going to be a little bit chilly, but I highly recommend the achitectural boat tour. I am a transplat and every time someone comes to visit me, we go and I love it even after 6 times, end everyone else seems to as well. I typically go with Wendella tours, which is located right off Michigan Avenue.
Lunch (or dinner) at Grand Luxe Cafe on Michigan
Grand Luxe is right by Eatly, which is new and a tourist trap but also kind of neat, they have some fun home decore and kitchen items for purchase that are fun to look at. They have a Nutella Bar, Espresso Bar, and Dessert Bars as well if you want to stop in for that, and of course plenty of Italian Food.
Drinks at The Signature Lounge at the top of the Hancock Tower has some pretty great city views.
Thank you so much for stopping by with your awesome suggestions, Amanda!! We tried The Signature Lounge. So good! 🙂
