DIY // DECORATIVE HOLIDAY PINECONES

A couple of weeks ago my 13 year old niece, Madelyn gave me some pretty painted pinecones that she made all by herself. I think they’re really cute and they work perfectly with the rest of our holiday decor.

Best part – they were super simple to make. Just gather some pinecones and a few supplies, and they can be created in minutes.

What you’ll need:
+ Pinecones
+ Acrylic paint in your fave holiday colors (or spray paint)
+ Paint brush
+ glitter or glitter paint for the tips

And you end up with these little pretties…

You can display them anywhere and in any way. I chose to fill an empty hurricane vase from our DIY wedding with them.

This would look even better with some sparkly snow mixed in, don’t you think? Unfortunately I ran out of my snow from my DIY snow globe project and haven’t had time to go get more. When I do, there will be snow added. 🙂

Oh, and here’s a photo of me with Vivi and my two nieces. They’re the best and we love doing crafty projects together!
