I recently got my hands on some awesome SnapeZo frames, which are versatile, reusable, made from high quality materials, and are cost-effective—the perfect combination!
These frames make it easy to change out artwork in 30 seconds and work so well for frequently rotating printable artwork.
SnapeZo frames inspired me to create and share 15 FREE art printables! It’s been waaaay too long since I’ve done that. Keep scrolling to the end see all of the FREE printables.
I’ve designed lots of printables over the years, but have rarely printed and framed them—that has finally changed thanks to SnapeZo. I printed a handful, and planned for three of them to get framed.
I had them all printed at my local UPS store in both 11×17 and letter size. It cost less than $5 to get them all printed, and the quality was really good.
Adding the prints to the SnapeZo frames is a snap—no pun intended. 🙂 Here’s a quick tutorial with my letter size frame.
You’ll want to start by taking the frame out of the packaging, and from the front of the frame you’ll pull up all four sides of the frame. They easily snap open.
Once all four sides are pulled open you will want to remove the UV protective cover by peeling where it tells you.
Each frame comes with a glossy and non reflective/non glossy cover.
I chose the non reflective cover and peeled away the temporary film, then set the cover aside.
I took my letter size art print and placed it into the open frame. It’s really obvious where to place the print.
Finally I took my UV protective cover and placed it right on top of the print.
All that’s left is snapping all four frame sides closed. It took me about 30 seconds from start to finish—I told you it was very easy!
Since SnapeZo frames are made from durable commercial grade aluminum, which ensures the frames won’t buckle or bend with repeated use, I can change out different art prints more frequently.
I repeated the same steps with my 11×17 and 16×20 frames.
I started by peeling off the temporary sheet from the cover, and set it aside. I went with glossy this time.
I snapped open the four frame sides and added in my 11×17 print.
Then I added the UV cover and snapped the frame sides closed.
Soo easy!!

The letter sized rainbow print made its way into Vivi’s bedroom. She loves bright colors, rainbows, unicorns…so this fits the space nicely.
Hanging SnapeZo frames is very easy using 3M strips or a basic nail. I simply hammered a small nail into the wall…
and placed the frame over the nail using the centered hole at the top of the frame. Easy as can be!
I have a feeling this frame will be seeing a lot of different printables over the years as Vivi’s tastes change. Thankfully it’s easy to change the artwork within 30 seconds or less by snapping up the frame, removing the current artwork, replacing with the new artwork and snapping the frame edges closed.
Onto the rest…
Two of my “plant lady” prints have found a home in our master bedroom. They helped to bring in some life to the space.
I hung the 11×17 print using the same technique as used in Vivi’s room, and then leaned the 16×20 print on a large scale piece of art.
I love layering leaned art, so I grabbed a piece of large art from the bathroom wall and made it work here. I am all about moving artwork and decor around my house every few months to make things feel fresh.
Also you might notice the white mat used in the 16×20 frame. I decided to add a very thin white 16×20 mat with an 11×14 opening to the 16×20 frame since I was working with an 11×17 print. It worked really well. If you use this method I recommend a very thin mat so the frame sides close flush as they are meant to do.
I layered in some plants and some of my dad’s vintage Nat Geo books along with some of my most worn jewelry pieces. I made the DIY poodle ring dish last summer.
I love this little corner of the master bedroom so much more now. The new SnapeZo framed artwork really freshened up the entire room.
